Project Description

Client: Private
Location: Florence
Year: 2010 – 2013
Work: Historical renovation of villa
Project: Arch. Luigi Fragola – Florence

On the hills of Florence, near the Arno river, the Piazza Calda villa rises. It is a stately old building with a tower, which is surrounded by a large park where cypresses stand flanking the entrance.
Edilizia Interna has just completed a delicate restoration and historic preservation project. It involved: the facade, enhanced by the contours of stone and wrought iron railings, the interior arches, the Serena stone stairs, the old terracotta, and the glazed surfaces and antique art objects that make the house look like an impressive museum.
